CRAZY hair day!!

SO much has been going on at the girls school I hope I cover everything! I just adore the girls school and their teachers. The year has been going great and I am seeing big progress with Hailee and she is on track to catching up with all her peers. I'm so glad they are in a great school with small class sizes and that they have so many teams to help kids that were not in the ESD and catch them up to where they should be. It's amazing their standards. Faith is doing quite well and is doing the work of a 2nd grader!! She has really taken off with the amount of resources here and has been soaking it all up. Tegan is loving her preschool! She has learned so much in such a sort period of time. It's so amazing to see the amount of growth a 4 year old goes through.

Hailee and Faith both had grade level performances. Hailee's performance was all Broadway shows. It was SO adorable and I was in tears most of the time because I've NEVER been to a school performance. I just thought they were things on movies - schools don't ACTUALLY do these things. Boy was I wrong! They went above and beyond and every child had a "starring role". Hailee was the tamborine player in the marching band during one of the numbers. She did great! For Faith's performance it was all patriotic songs. Faith's starring role was singing and doing sign languange. She did amazing as well. We surprised the girls with flowers and a trip to get ice cream after their shows. Both of them were SO proud of all the hard work and all the practicing they did. They both did quite amazing!

Cousins and a trip to San Jose!

Cousins and Best buds

Tegan flying in the air!

Marco-Polo!! Um . . Poppy you are looking the wrong way! They are behind you!!

Weeeeeee!!!!

Kaleb and Izzy stayed with Poppy and Grammy for a few months and we were able to get to spend some time with them on a visit down to San Jose. The girls just LOVE getting to spend time with their cousins and we don't get to see them as often as we would like so this was a real treat. Faith and Izzy are BEST friends (and only a few days apart in age!) and Hailee and Keleb get along so great. It's always a bit bittersweet seeing the kids because there is just so much of Adam in them. I wish he was here to see our kids all growing up together.

In February we made another trip down to San Jose to attend a memorial service so the girls all stayed with Poppy and Grammy. Like always they had a blast. I about peed my pants when we drove up and saw my dad with a bag on his head playing "marco-polo" with the girls. As you can see the girls REALLY had him fooled! Then of course it was onto "Poppy gymnastics". It's always a fun time and the girls had a blast. Even though the cirumstances as to why we were in San Jose were sad it was a great trip because we were able to see so many close friends and family we haven't seen in a long time.
