The happiest place on Earth!

It has been 4 years since we were last at Disneyland and we thought it was about time for a trip back. We've been planning this trip for quite awhile and we were soooo excited! The girls had NO idea so the morning we were set to leave they woke up and had a large box in the living room with a note on it that read "Open me". When they opened it balloons came barreling out with a sign attached to the bottom that read "We're going to Disneyland!". To say they were excited is a huge understatement!! They asked when are we going to wich we replied, "now, go get dressed"!

We stayed at a timeshare so it was great to have a condo for the week. We got down and got all setteled in and rested before our early start in the park the next day. We arrived in the park bright and early and the expression on Tegan's face walking down Main Street will forever be etched in my mind. There really is nothing like seeing your child taking in Disneyland for the very first time.

We decided to pull them from school for a week so we could go during an off time which was the best thing because there were little to no lines for rides. We discovered that Faith is a roller coaster Queen and there is no ride she won't go on and love. She loves the speed, the drops and the thrill of it all. Hailee is more of a Matterhorn girl . . she loves the shows and the rides that are slow enough to see what is coming up next. Tegan was hilarious because she loves the roller coasters (she was able to ride the Matterhorn) but she was so upset when she wasn't big enough to go on a ride. Each time we got to a ride that she was too little for she would break down and cry "but then I can't go to Disneyland!" . . . it was too cute but heartbreaking all at the same time.

We went to the park 4 days and we were able to do everything we wanted to do during that time. Early entry, breakfast with Minnie and friends, all the rides, shows and eat all the yummy treats that you can only get in Disneyland (gumbo, pineapple whip, etc.). We also decided that if the Lord allows we are going to try and go back to Disneyland every year . . . or at least not wait another 4 years before returning! :)
