Birthday's . . Birthday's . . . Birthday's!! Thursday was Faith's 3rd birthday! We had a birthday playdate at one of her favorite parks in Folsom. A lot of her friends came to help celebrate with water play and cupcakes! I brought my camera but of course the batteries were dead and I didn't have backup, I was SO bummed! For dinner she said she wanted to go to Elephant Bar so Andy, Lisa and their girls along with Uncle Mike joined us. After dinner we came home so she could open her presents which by this time she was pretty much over it because she had NO nap and it was a VERY long day of fun and sugar! Aaron's birthday fell on Friday the 13th this year and he had an EXTRA birthday surprise since Tony and Jenn's daughter, Mirella Capri, arrived on the same day! Since we went to dinner the night before for Faith we hung out at home and he BBQ'd some yummy chicken kabobs. The girls were SO excited for him to open his presents and I think this year we did a GREAT job on gifts (he's SO hard to buy for!). We all got him a fishing license, a new golf glove with tees and golf balls (he's taking it up). On Saturday I went to the hospital in Folsom to meet Mirella and she is absolutley beautiful! She looks just like her mama and it was so amazing to hold her and think that only 6 short months ago Tegan was the same size! Saturday afternoon we spent with some good friends of ours at their daughter's 5th birthday. It was a hot day and the girls and Aaron spent a good portion of it in the pool. After another LONG day we all crashed out. Tegan slept for 10 hours STRAIGHT (for the 2nd time in her crib) and we all woke up on Father's day nice and refreshed to start another fun packed day! After a big breakfast at home we headed to Lowes (Aaron's home away from home) and picked up a few things. On the way home we swung by to look at a travel trailer we found on Cragislist and BOUGHT IT!!!! We are SOOOOO excited to start camping!! It's an older trailer ('75) but in GREAT condition and will sleep our family comfortably. The kitchen area is nice and the stove and fridge are in perfect condition and it has a brand new A/C unit, tires and is in very clean condition! Talk about a FIND! I'll post pictures of it soon! After being on a happy "high" from making our first big "toy" purchase we came home to wait for Chris, Sandra and Caleb to arrive! We hadn't seen them since Caleb was about 3mos old so we were VERY excited to see and spend the day with them! Aaron and Chris jetted out to go rent an amp. to play music and Sandra and I stayed home with the kiddos and caught up on life. Andy, Lisa and the girls came over to join us for a father's day BBQ. It was so neat to see all the babies together. Allison and Caleb are only a few weeks apart in age and really enjoyed playing together. Hailee was absolutley in LOVE with Caleb and wanted to hold him a lot. I think he could have actually held her he's such a big boy! After dinner Aaron and Chris played music together and it was like a mini concert at our place. The girls were dancing on the front lawn while Sandra and I sat out with the babies and enjoyed the warm evening. It was such a great day and I think it's a Father's day Aaron will ALWAYS remember!
