Well, it is official . . . Hailee is now in 1st grade! Today she had her kindergarten promotion and it was so cute. All of the kindergarteners preformed songs and dances and then each child was called up to the front of the room to get their diploma from their teacher and cross the bridge over to the 1st grade. After the ceremonies we all were fed cake and lemoniade from the principal and the PTA. Before leaving we headed back to her class to pick up all of the goodies her teacher had prepared for each child. I was amazed at all her teacher had done for each child. She compiled a scrapbook starting with a picture of Hailee on her 1st day of school and it covers all of the wonderful things Hailee has done and has learned over the year. We also got to take home her journal that she has kept all year and lots more goodies (including a free meal to Elephant Bar AND Red Robbin - her 2 favorite places to eat!). We will miss Ms. Coony but hopefully in another few years Faith can enjoy learning in her class. Now it's time for some summer fun!!
