What a good student!

Every year as a tradition we go to the Gold Rush Days in Old Town Sacramento. The girls just love all there is to see and do. This year was espcially nice since it was only in the 80's. We saw an old west shoot out in the streets, learned a few fun things in the old school house before stopping on the wooden boardwalk for some yummy lunch. Tegan LOVED all the horses (kept calling them doggies) and to be taken back in time was pretty neat. After lunch we headed over to the "tent city" where all the girls and daddy panned for gold. After getting a bunch of gold they traded it in at the bank for bonds and then the fun began. We roamed around old town and they were able to use their "money" to purchase items around town. After some shopping, old time bowling and people watching we headed over to get an ice cream cone before going home. Another fun day!
