What a LONG weekend! Aaron's uncle Jerry recently got married and this past weekend was the reception. On Friday I loaded up the car and drove down to Old Town to pick up Aaron and we were off to Oregon. The girls did wonderful on the trip as usual. We stopped in beautiful Shasta City at "our spot" - the Black Bear Diner. We enjoyed a nice dinner before hoping in the car for the rest of our journey. We stayed with my brother which was nice. On Saturday morning we met up with Laura, Nathan, my grandpa and aunt for breakfast. After that short visit we drove out to Grants Pass to hook up with Aaron's family and caravan out to Galice for the reception. It was a beautiful reception at Thunder Ridge Ranch. The girls had a BLAST dancing and running in the fields. There were wild turkeys out which Hailee tried to catch - but they were faster than she was! It was a pretty warm day and by the end of it the girls were worn out. We headed back to my brother's house in Eagle Point and just hung out and watched movies while all 3 girls zonked out. Sunday we drove back out to Grants Pass and Aaron attended his grandfather's new church while the girls and I went shopping. After a nice lunch at his grandparent's house we drove home. It was a LONG weekend with lot's and lot's of driving (hit the 100,000 mark in the Expedition!) but it was so good to see family and very much worth the drive.
